“Chris from Knapp Strategic Projects & Consulting was the real visionary and architect behind the new corporate sponsorship program that Holt-Dimondale Destination Imagination (DI) introduced for the 2017-2018 school year. When one of the parent volunteers asked him to come up with a design for a promotional t-shirt to help with fundraising, he proposed using corporate sponsorships as part of a comprehensive strategy that focuses on 3 key activities/goals—closer collaboration between Holt-Dimondale Destination Imagination, Holt Public Schools, and the local business community; enhanced employer engagement; and expanded opportunities for D.I. students to engage in service learning throughout the entire school year.
As a result of the comprehensive strategy he helped to implement, we have received a great response from the local business community. After overseeing efforts to reach out to more than 200 Holt-Dimondale area businesses we were able to sign-up a total of 23 corporate sponsors and secure more than $9,500 to support the 2017-2018 Holt-Dimondale Destination Imagination program.
In addition, Chris authored a number of promotional articles about Holt-Dimondale Destination Imagination that appeared in special editions of the student newspaper called the Kids’ World News, which contributed to a record number of new D.I. students and teams choosing to participate during the 2018-2019 school year.
